With gentle compassion, the most advanced technology, and patient-tested care, we are prepared to guide you through a step-by-step diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation process.
Understanding Cataracts
A cataract is formed when the natural lens of the eye becomes cloudy, impairing vision. It naturally occurs as a process of aging, but can later complicate everyday activities, such as reading, driving, or recognizing faces. Some of the most prevalent symptoms are listed below:
- Blurry or clouded vision
- Glare from sunlight or headlights
- Reading in low light
- Irregular changes in eyeglass prescription
- Double vision in one eye
Our full eye examination screens for the presence, severity, and impact of cataracts on your lifestyle. We utilize state-of-the-art technology, including slit lamp microscopy, intraocular lens analysis, and visual acuity testing, to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Our Cataract Care Process
1. Diagnosis & Consultation
Your procedure begins with a thorough clinical examination. We assess your vision, overall eye health, and the impact of cataracts on your lifestyle. Testing includes visual acuity, contrast sensitivity, and glare tolerance testing.
2. Choice of Intraocular Lens (IOL)
There are several IOLs to cater to lifestyle needs and visual needs:
- Monofocal IOLs: Ideal for sharp distance vision; reading glasses can still be required.
- Toric IOLs: To correct distance vision and astigmatism.
- Multifocal/Accommodating IOLs: Provide you with multiple vision, less dependence on glasses.
We teach you about all the various IOL options, so you have a knowledge-driven decision.
3. Referral & Surgical Coordination
While we provide diagnostic and recovery care, cataract surgery is performed by a highly experienced ophthalmologist. We coordinate with your surgeon and arrange:
- Accurate preoperative measurements
- Detailed instructions on what will happen
- Simple-to-understand scheduling from your life calendar
4. Follow-Up Postoperative
Following your surgery, our team monitors:
- Visual acuity and refraction stability
- Healing and intraocular pressure
- Visual comfort and adaptation to your new lens
We adjust medications or add support treatments in an attempt to optimize recovery.
