Caring for your contacts is important and will make a world of difference with your vision when they are worn and cared for properly.
➢ Wash your hand well before handling your lenses and touching your eyes
➢ Handle your soft contact lenses with care, be gentle as they can tear and be sure to use the pads of your fingers, keeping your nails away from your eye and the lens.
➢ Replace damaged, contaminated, or scratched lenses immediately.
➢ Stick to your prescribed wearing schedule for the best comfort and health of your eyes.
➢ Use fresh lens solution every time you take out your lenses.
➢ Replace your contact lens case when you replace your contact lenses.
➢ Do not sleep in your contact lenses unless you have been advised to do so by your eye care practitioner.
➢ Do not wear your contact lenses longer than the recommended time, longer wear can cause infections over time.
➢ Do not use water or saliva to clean your contact lenses, they both could contain bacteria that could potentially lead to infection.
➢ Do not share your contacts, or use others contacts because they can spread bacteria from one person to another causing infection. Also, your lenses are specifically designed for you and not everyone has the same prescription.
